Opens at 78°C and is fully open at 88°C, versus 82°C/92°C for the standard thermostat (valve lift 8 mm), starting coolant circulation earlier to keep water temperature lower. Stabilizing coolant temperature helps prevent heat-related power loss and poor throttle response, especially in tuned or hard-driven vehicles. |
