This thermostat opens at a lower temperature than the OEM unit, keeping coolant temperature down and stabilizing engine output and response while preventing the ECU from running heat-protection maps. Full valve lift is 8-9mm depending on type. For the ZC32S two settings are offered: A type for sports\/circuit driving and B type for street use.
