Engine oil carries extremely fine iron particles worn from the crankshaft and connecting rod bearings and from the pistons and rings; replacing the stock drain bolt with the RRP magnetic plug collects this iron powder, making engine wear easy to check and simplifying engine health management. Also helps keep the oil clean and extends oil life. Machined duralumin (aluminum) body with an ultra-powerful magnet, finished in R's blue anodizing. |
