The mold covered with Bripreg (carbon woven into a cloth and soaked in resin) is placed in a heat-resistant resin bag, and the air is removed to create a vacuum, so that it adheres to the mold. The product is then baked under pressure in an autoclave (a pressurized heating oven) to transform it into a stronger carbon product. It is approximately 4.9 kg lighter than the genuine steel plate material. It also has comparable strength.
