COLD FORMING. The advantage of cold forming, in which steel is wound at room temperature, is that it is possible to manufacture springs with high strength, resistance to stiffness, and moderate initial rebound. It doesn't feel stiff, even though it can be stepped on. It is finished in such a spring with such a literally supple feeling. By the way, Tanabe's coiling machine is powerful enough to wind steel materials of 14 mm or more in a linear shape at room temperature. The rough cut surface of the cross-limit spring is a testament to the use of this advanced cold forming.
Manufacturing and steel materials are "Made in JAPAN". Tanabe's springs are "in-house developed" and "manufactured in-house" with a focus on safety and reliability. In addition, we continue to pursue the manufacture of safe and secure products with a high level of quality, even in parts that are not visible to the eye, such as steel and other materials that make up our products.
Strict inspection system In order to ensure safety and security, all wire rods are subjected to microhardness tests. We have adopted a system in which the mechanical properties, chemical compositions, and specifications and manufacturing performance values are strictly inspected according to the mill sheet (steel material inspection certificate), and only those that pass the specifications flow to the manufacturing process. In addition, we strictly check the dimensions and performance of the springs produced to ensure that they are as designed.
Special coating that is overwhelmingly resistant to rust and peeling. The coating is primed with "zinc phosphate film conversion" and "cationic electrodeposition coating," which are also used in genuine parts of car manufacturers, and then the film is strengthened with "powder coating" to dramatically improve durability and rust resistance against scratches and snow removal agents.
