ENGINE COMPLETE is assembled using all new genuine Honda parts.All edges of the cylinder block and cylinder head are deburred to avoid stress concentration and to prevent metal chips from falling out of the engine during the manufacturing process.The weight of moving parts such as pistons, piston pins, and connecting rods is kept within 0.02g for each cylinder.The total weight of these moving parts is approximately 1,100g (K20C), and the difference between cylinders is 0.002%.Since the allowable weight difference of conventional Honda Type R series engines is 0.2%, we are pursuing a precision 100 times greater than that.Uniformity of moving parts weight reduces imbalance and vibration, and the rpm rises smoothly, giving you a pleasant feeling that does not show up in figures such as power curves.Furthermore, an important aspect of engine assembly is clearance management.The engine combines different materials such as aluminum and iron to achieve both strength and light weight.An aluminum cylinder block is cast with an iron cylinder sleeve, and an aluminum piston is incorporated.
