To make the GT-R run faster... As power and response increase, weight reduction is a must. However, another problem that must be addressed is heat control. This becomes a major obstacle when driving on a circuit, making it impossible to fully realize the car's potential. Based on this idea, the "CARBON BONNET TYPE II" was born, taking into consideration the harmony between the functionality of the GT-R and the design. The biggest feature of this model is the newly installed engine room exhaust duct. A limited air circulation space is created inside the inner rib, which is effective in preventing engine heat. In addition, a drain is installed in the front to prevent water from entering the engine room directly in the event of rain, helping to avoid water-related problems. The original GT-R recommended by Mine's has a design layout that looks like it is standard equipment without destroying the image of the GT-R, and a sporty appearance that is different from others. The material is dry carbon, and it is approximately 6.9 kg (-57%) lighter than the genuine product. (*1) As with TYPE I, it has an inner rib structure and uses honeycomb for the base, making it both strong and lightweight. It is compatible with the standard striker, so it can be installed with a bolt-on. Two types of surface treatment are available: one with super clear coating, and one without coating for customers who want to paint after purchase. *1: Standard bonnet 12.1kg → Mine's bonnet 5.2kg *To prevent any trouble that may occur when driving on a circuit, we recommend taping the gap between the front of the bonnet and the bumper, or using a bonnet pin in combination.
